your Three Lions encounter
The small pub with a big heart. We pride ourselves in not being just an outstanding live music venue but also a great place to be the rest of the week.
Much of the original building dates back to its 17th century roots as an ale house of some repute. The oak beams are real and the floor well trodden.
We hand-pull a range of the acclaimed Shepherd Neame ales, who being the oldest brewer in Britain know a thing or two about fine ales. Leading continental lagers on tap and a complete range of spirits and good wine make for a fine drinking selection. You'll even get coffee or tea if you ask nicely!
A thoroughly relaxed and unpretentious experience with a real log fire in the winter and an enclosed beer garden all year round. Smokers have access to shelter and warmth through our sun lamps and awnings.
Pool and darts, with enthusiastic representation in local leagues for both. A juke box with real music, and satellite TV discretely showing sporting highlights on demand.
A good locals' local
and one of the last
Proper Boozers left in Britain.
